Dr. Raelynn Farnsworth graduated from Washington State University with her DVM in 1993. She continued on to a small animal rotating internship at The Ohio State University. After her internship, she went into private practice in both Virginia and Minnesota until she came back academia at WSU in 2002 where she has remained. She is currently the section lead of Community Practice, where she spends most of her time on clinics, and is heavily involved in teaching Veterinary Dentistry. Her professional interests also include preventive medicine, vaccination protocols and canine and feline medicine. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her husband, 3 children and her many pets and camping.

Dr. Beth Boynton

Beth Boynton, DVM, FNAP

Dr. Beth Boynton is a 1980 graduate of University of Minnesota’s College of Veterinary Medicine. After 10 years of private practice she created the Community Practice at the U of M. She lectured in preclinical courses in pediatrics, geriatrics, canine/feline vaccinations, interview skills, pet selection, and pet loss, teamwork, business economics, communications, resumes, and interviews.
In 2003 she set up clinical pet wellness rotations for first and second year students at the new CVM at Western University of Health Sciences and is currently directing the communication curriculum, interprofessional education, facilitating problem based learning, and teaching clinical sessions. Dr. Boynton is active in leadership in veterinary organizations and University committees.
